Treads, Risers & Starting Steps

Product Description:
The horizontal portion of the step we walk on is called the tread. Returned treads are used where a finished edge of the stair is exposed. Risers are the vertical boards positioned between the steps. Starting Steps are made with either both ends, or one end, rounded - called a Bull Nose- and, the Starting Step unit includes the tread, riser, shoe mould kit, and cove mould kit.
