Shipping and Returns

All orders will be sent FOB destination.  All additional shipping charges (ie; residential delivery, COD fees, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer.  

Freight Claims

Inspect your orders immediately upon delivery and note any damages on Bill of Lading before the driver leaves.  Preferably reject any damaged good at time of delivery and have driver return to sender.  

Lead Times

Typical lead times are 10-14 business days for all items other than stock items. Stock items expected to ship in 2-3 business days.  Orders for exotic species will have a 15-19 business day lead time. Lead times for other specie orders will be quoted for job.  


Returns are limited to standard stock items only and MUST have prior approval from Stair Parts.  Custom orders can not be returned.  

Merchandise approved for retun may be subjected to a 25% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for shipping charges on all returns.  

Merchandise returned for credit must be in it's original, salable condition. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. 

Product Warranty

Stair Parts will replace any defective merchandise at our expense.  Credit is limited to the defective material only.  No credit can be given for labor or finishing.  All orders must be inspected upon delivery and prior to installation.  Claims for defects must be presented prior to installation.  


The cost for remium protective packaging for shipping handraill will be included with every order and is not included in product pricing.  This packaging has proven effective at protecting products from damage in transit. Additional costs will be assessed on any product of unusual shape or size dimension requiring special packaging.  Pricing for job lot, custom and special order handrails will include premium protective packaging.
